Sunday – 10:00 am
St. Margaret’s is an Episcopal Church, within the Diocese of New York, that welcomes all people without judgment. We are located in the beautiful hamlet of Staatsburg, which is in the county of Dutchess along the Hudson River just north of Hyde Park and south of Rhinebeck.
We are a community that affirms the Catholic Faith and with joy and dedication celebrates the sacraments of the Church.
Our Diocesan Bishop is The Right Reverend Andrew M.L. Dietsche.
The members of our church community come from a wide variety of religious traditions within the Christian family.
We are an inclusive parish. At St. Margaret’s, all are accepted just as they are and no one is judged. Our parish family makes every effort to be welcoming without being overwhelming or invasive.
Our faith family is committed to serving the needs of those who live on the social and economic margins of society. Our outreach programs are directed towards serving the hungry, the homeless, our newly arrived immigrants and local school children in need of remedial help.
Additionally, the “Justice for all Speakers” Forum which gives voice to the issues of peace and justice took root at St. Margaret’s by members who were committed to raising awareness about our Scriptural mandates.
We are also committed to being a place where good music is presented, both during the Sunday parish liturgy and occasionally during Sunday afternoon concerts.
When you make your first visit to our church home, please know that we would be delighted to see you again. We will embrace you as a brother or sister in Christ, and we will rejoice in having you join with us as we continue the work of the gospel of Christ.
We’re located at the corner Old Post Road & East Elm Ave. in the Village of Staatsburg.
Please join us, even if you’re just in town for the day!
