Why choose
St. Margaret’s?
St. Margaret’s and The Episcopal Church
The Episcopal Church sits at a unique crossroads between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism, embracing aspects of both traditions. It values both scripture and tradition, while also emphasizing reason as an important tool for understanding and interpreting faith. This balance allows for a flexible, thoughtful approach to theology, making it welcoming to a wide range of perspectives.

Clothes Drive
Please spread the word that St. Margaret's is having its Annual Coat Drive, accepting new or used, in good condition, coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. We will be donating these items to the Children's Center in the Courts with Family Services in Poughkeepsie.
Also included in our donation request are socks. We have received a special request to help with the Community Donation of socks for 120 individuals who reside at the Renaissance Nursing Home in Hyde Park. Whatever we can contribute to this collection will be a blessing for those in need.
Please drop off donations on Sunday, 12/7, 12/14 & 12/21 before 12:30 pm. Items can also be dropped off on Saturday, 12/20/25, between 9:30 am and noon during our monthly soup sale.
Please help us make a difference in others' lives this Holiday Season.
